Privacy policy

What we collect when you visit and buy, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Updated 12 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible

LAAS ApS, Sankt Hans Gade 24, st., 2200 København N, Denmark. CVR 40942491. Questions about your data: support@laaslocks.com.

2. When you buy

We use your name, email, address and, if you give it, your phone number to deliver your order and to answer you about it. The legal basis is the contract with you. We keep order records for five years, because the Danish bookkeeping act asks us to.

We share what is needed with the payment provider you choose, with the carrier that delivers the lock, and with the company that runs our shop. They may only use it to do that job.

3. When you call or write to us

We use what you tell us, such as your name, email, phone number, order number and receipts, to help you. The legal basis is the contract when it concerns your order, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering you. We delete it when the case is closed, unless it belongs to an order record.

When you visit, the company that hosts this site sees your IP address to send you the pages and keeps it in its logs for a short time, for security only.

4. News by email

If you tick the box at checkout, we send you news about the Ring-Lock, at most once a month. The legal basis is your consent. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and you can also write to us. We then stop and delete your email from the list.

5. In your browser

This site keeps your cart and your language choice in your own browser (local storage) so they are still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to us from there, and we use no tracking or advertising cookies. While you check out, what you type is kept in this browser tab only until you close it.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit how we use it, to get a copy, and to object. Write to support@laaslocks.com. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, datatilsynet.dk.
